October 4th is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
St. Francis loved animals and his care for them was renown. Traditionally, on his feast day the Church blesses our pets and animals.
We will be having the blessing on Friday, October 3rd at 2:30 pm. Students and parishioners wishing to have their pets blessed may enter through the main entrance of the school to the playground no earlier than 2:15 pm.
All pets must be on a leash or in a cage for the animal’s protection.
