The Lord is King; He is Robed in Majesty
Benediction and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
You are invited to spend an hour with our Lord in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, in giving thanks for this year, in the joyful wait of Advent, in the contemplation of the mystery of “God-with-us”, in faithfulness of his mercy that opens the door of the world that comes.
Sunday, November 26, 2017
From 3:00pm to 4:00pm
In St. Anne’s Church
The Solemnity of our Lord Jesus Christ the King indicates the end of the liturgical year.
The Kingdom of Christ does not belong to this world; even if the Lord said that his kingdom
is among us. The Gospel of the first Sunday of Advent will clarify about the end of the world, about the second coming of Christ and his advent in the glory.
The Church, because of her wisdom, proclaims that Jesus is really the Lord of the time
and the eternity. The Liturgical year helps us on our path to salvation showing that life has
a meaning, a future: being with God.
