The Program: The St. Anne's Campus Care Program extends the care and education of students beyond the regularly scheduled school hours.
Enrollment:: Any child, K - 8th grade, who is enrolled in St. Anne’s School is eligible for the Campus Care Program.
Procedures: Students are not allowed to remain on the School grounds unsupervised. Therefore, students who arrive at school before 7:45 a.m. or remain after 3:15 p.m. are required to attend Campus Care. No student will be allowed to attend Campus Care without a completed application/emergency form.
Program Hours: Campus Care will be offered only on days when school is in session. The hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. (K - 8th); 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (for Kindergarten students); 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (for early dismissal days for grades K-8); and 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (1-8 grades).
ALL CHILDREN MUST BE PICKED UP BY 5:30 P.M. A late pick-up fee of $1.00 per minute will be assessed. Continuous late pickup may result in Campus Care services being suspended.
Campus Care Daily Schedule:
7:00 - 7:45 a.m. Sign-in and Before School Campus Care (Dominican Hall)
1:30 - 1:40 p.m. Sign-in for Kindergartners (Kindergarten room)
1:40 - 2:15 p.m. Weather permitting outside play (Kindergarten)
2:15 - 2:30 p.m. Quiet time, soft music and rest (Kindergarten)
2:30 - 2:45 p.m. Coloring, games, puzzles or free play inside (Kindergarten)
2:45 - 3:00 p.m. Kindergarten transitions to Dominican Hall
3:00 - 3:15 p.m. Sign-in for After School Campus Care (grades 1-8, Dominican Hall)
3:15 - 4:00 p.m. Homework (Room 8), games, coloring, puzzles
4:00 - 4:15 p.m. Snack
4:15 - 5:00 p.m. Outside play (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
Craft project (Wednesday)
Cooking project (Friday)
5:00 - 5:30 p.m. Inside reading, coloring, games or puzzles
Program Rules:
1. Show respect for Campus Care staff and others attending Campus Care.
2. When eating snacks and drinking, you must sit down.
3. Keep your table and floor area clean.
4. Soda will be allowed only after 4:00 p.m.
5. No running or shouting in the building.
6. No flying or throwing of objects in the building.
7. Stairs and the kitchen are not play areas.
8. Clean up toys, puzzles or games when finished playing.
9. Children go outside to play only with staff supervision.
10. On the playground, the balls cannot be kicked/bounced against the wall or toward the roof.
11. For safety on the bars, you should keep both hands on the bars, no swinging of legs.
12. Supplies will be distributed by the Campus Care staff.
13. The discipline policy in the school handbook is applicable to the Campus Care Program.
Inappropriate behavior can result in a child being excused from the program.
