Mission Statement: “We welcome and invite everyone into the House of the Lord.”
History: Around 15 to 20 years ago Lou Farnsworth, one of our parishioners, started greeting people at the 8:30AM Mass on Sundays. Another parishioner, Maria Pena, also started greeting at this time as well. Soon Dean Faulkner and Virginia Mittleider began to follow suit and greet at the door also at the 10:30AM Mass on Sundays. Eventually groups like the Daughters of Isabella started to promote the idea of having Greeters at all the Masses so they gave out flyers to their members about being Greeters.
About: Our ministry greets and helps everyone who enters the church.
Meetings: Greeters meet individually at the Church for 15 to 30 minutes before the Mass begins.
