Italian Catholic Federation Through families and fellowship the Italian Catholic Federation- promotes and supports the Catholic faith and its values
- encourages apostolic and charitable works, and
- celebrates our Italian-American heritage and all the heritages of our communites.
History: The Italian Catholic Federation (IFC) is a religious-social-heritage organization formed in 1924 to bring back to the church Italian Catholics who were no longer practicing their religion. It is a family organization where the entire family is encouraged to join and participate. Today, Catholics of all ages and from all cultures are admitted as members.
About: The ICF encompasses a spirit and vitality that has allowed it to grow today to thousands of men, woman, and children of all ages across the United States, whose charitable works within and beyond parish boundries assist, elevate, enrich, and invigorate the lives of countless numbers of people.
ICF branch members actively participate in:- building fellowship with other members in social and religious events,
- providing financial and volunteer assistance to parishes and parish ministries,
- supporting local and national charities
- supporting seminarian education
- offering grants to individuals with disabilities to assist them towards greater independence,
- awarding college scholarships to students, and
- recognizing humanitarian work in the community with national awards.
