Happy Easter Friday to you! I don’t know about you, but this week has been so joy-filled! The power of the Risen Lord is alive in our lives and our world, and I pray that you have simply been basking in His glory this week! Christ is Risen…He is Risen indeed!
I wanted to share a couple intra-office, intra-ministry communications that I sent out in the past few days, information that I thought may be of interest to the larger community.
The first attachment is an announcement regarding our School and our new Assistant Principal, the second is simply a thank-you note that I put out to our Team. I know that, in my simple words, are expressed the gratitude of our entire community…so I thought I would share.
Hope you have a wonderful day, and I look forward to seeing all of you again this coming weekend.
Rejoice in the Lord!!

St. Anne’s School Community,
I write to share some staffing news…updates that are both a blessing and a sorrow.
Mrs. Rose Herold, our outstanding Assistant Principal, past teacher and faithful servant of St. Anne’s School for over 24 years, has decided that this will be her final year of active ministry in the life of the Parish and School community. This is, as I am sure you will agree, extraordinarily sorrowful news.
Mrs. Herold precedes my time here at St. Anne’s, but over the past 14 years I have witnessed her develop into not only a fine teacher, but also an exceptional School and Parish leader. When, in a moment of extreme challenge, Rose responded affirmatively to my invitation to serve the School community as Principal pro-tem, I watched with joy as she took hold of an inner strength an inner wisdom that could have come from no other place than the Lord. Rose “rose” to the challenge and all of us were the beneficiaries of her generous response to God’s invitation to stretch.
Mrs. Herold is a true gift from our Lord and she will be greatly missed by us all. We will take some time to celebrate Rose’s contributions to the School, along with a posthumous celebration of our beloved Mrs. Hegwer, sometime in the month of May. Stay tuned for more information in the weeks ahead.
Moving from the sorrowful to the joyful…
It is with a profoundly joyful heart that I announce the person who will be taking Mrs. Herold’s place in the years to come. I am pleased to share with our community that Mrs. Heather Pinasco will, after completing her Masters of Education degree from the University of Notre Dame this coming summer, continue her life and ministry of service with us here at St. Anne’s School as our new Assistant Principal.
If you have ever had the fortunate privilege of speaking with Mrs. Pinasco, you know firsthand how talented she is. Heather strikes you immediately as a person of exceptional intelligence, refined manners, a love for students, and an overarching sense of life’s purpose. Heather is committed to the success of her ministry, her teaching, because she sees in it the foundation for success in life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I have no doubt that this passion and purpose will transfer quite nicely into an ever more expansive role of influence as she begins her service as Mrs. Mar’s Assistant Principal.
Congratulations to Mrs. Pinasco on the completion of her Master’s degree, and for her fiat, her yes to God’s next step in life. We are blessed, and will be blessed by her service to our School and Parish community.
Good news and sorrowful news. Seems par for the course as we go through this life. When God is with us, however, we are able to embrace both realities with peace and joy. This is what we strive to do now, and entrust to Him, once again, our Parish, our School, and all who work so very hard to provide for us the Spirit-filled environment that allows both our children and adults to grow in God’s grace.
We thank the Lord for Mrs. Herold…we thank the Lord for Mrs. Pinasco! May they both be blessed with His peace!
Christ’s Peace,
Fr. Brandon Ware

I need to share with you a bit of sad news…and I wanted to let everyone know at about the same time.
Last night, we had to make the difficult decision to give Ana back to the Lord. It was one of the most difficult things that I have ever had to decide, but her body was letting us know that it was time. She did, through the tremendous care of an amazing Vet, Dr. Judge, have a very peaceful death.
I know that she was loved by many in our community, and I hope you know that she loved being the “Parish dog”.
She was a blessing to us, and I am grateful to all of you for being a part of our lives.
Please pray for me.
Fr. Brandon Ware
