Olive Wood Crafts: The Holy Land

A group from the Holy Land will be selling religious items after all the Masses on October 11th & 12th. Many Catholic families in the Holy Land work in small workshops to produce these religious items from Olive Wood. These crafts were sold to pilgrims, but as security issues continue in the Holy Land, many of these families are suffering economic hardships. Due to this hardship, many Catholics are migrating elsewhere and the Catholic population in the Holy Land is dwindling. Sales will be used to help and support the Catholic population in The Holy Land and encourage them to remain in the area.
Un grupo de la Tierra Santa estarán vendiendo artículos religiosos después de todas las Misas el 11 y 12 de Octubre. Muchas familias católicas en la Tierra Santa trabajan en pequeños talleres para producir estos artículos religiosos de olivo. Estos oficios fueron vendidos a los peregrinos, sino como problemas de seguridad siguen en la Tierra Santa, muchas de estas familias están sufriendo problemas económicos. Debido a esta dificultad, muchos católicos están emigrando a otros lugares y la población Católica en la Tierra Santa está disminuyendo. Las ventas se utilizará para ayudar y apoyar a la población Católica en la Tierra Santa y les anima a permanecer en el área.
