Mission: The Mission of St. Anne’s Rosary Makers is to instruct Wire Cord Rosary making to groups of students above 5th grade as well as older students and adults. Rosary making is taught in English and in Spanish. Repairing Rosaries is at no cost. We promote first Saturday Mass and recitation of the rosary as requested by Mary, our blessed Mother, at Fatima in 1917Special rosary orders for First Holy Communion, etc. to be requested a month ahead of time.
Meetings: St. Anne’s Rosary Makers meets the first Saturday of the month (except June and July). Meetings are in the Library at the St. Anne’s Rectory after the 8:0am Mass.
About: The Chord and One Decade Wire Rosary are taught at no expense to adults and students who are above the 5th grade. If a person wants to start their own group with family and friends, we supply information where supplies can be purchased. We also give out information packets on how to say the rosary. Broken rosaries are repaired free of charge. The Wire and Chord Rosary are taught in English and Spanish. Rosaries that are made are given out first to our parish ministries of St Anne’s, then to hospitals, convalescent homes, prison ministry, prolife ministry etc. Rosaries are never sold however donations are accepted to help with supplies St. Anne’s Rosary Makers have a $200 allotment from the parish to help with core rosary supplies. Joyce Castles provides materials for the one decade wire rosary. All rosary makers at St. Anne’s are welcome to help with teaching our craft or making rosaries at home or St. Anne’s Library to be distributed to hospitals, religious education programs, convalescent homes etc.
